Engineered for the perilous territories of the Badlands, the Hawks Griffen stands out as a compact reconnaissance vessel adept at navigating where conventional fleet ships seldom go. Known for its speed, discretion, and impressive self-sufficiency, the Griffen is designed for long-range surveillance and probe deployment, along with sufficient combat capabilities to endure when missions, such as those involving the Rauthen IV unknown vessel, turn hostile.

The Åska Merchant Vessel is an independent trader designed to transport cargo, passengers, and her crew across the unpredictable expanses of settled space. Practical, adaptable, and extensively lived-in, she is not a warship; however, under the command of Master Resona, the Åska has developed an unfortunate tendency to find herself in the midst of significant historical events, much like the notorious Hawks Griffen and the Rauthen IV Unknown Vessel.

An unidentified vessel, referred to as the Rauthen IV Unknown Vessel, was encountered and subsequently tracked by the TSS Mantis. This Åska Merchant Vessel displays an unusual hull configuration and unknown propulsion systems, with an absence of recognizable design characteristics that complicate reliable classification. Current DIA analysis remains incomplete, as much of the information in the current schematics is based on sensor data and intelligence assessments rather than confirmed specifications. The origin and purpose of this Hawks Griffen vessel remain unknown, leading to its classification as ALPHA BLACK.
